I am lookingto buy a silencer for my JG Dragunov SVD airsoft gun. I don’t know how it will be attached, and if I need a specific size, can someone please tell me if I need a certain size and how It goes on?

First off it’s actually called a suppressor. your airsoft should have some sort of barrel thread that you can screw the suppressor on to. if it says 14mm cw on the suppressor that means it works on airsoft with 14mm clockwise rotation threads. thats all i can tell you without seeing your gun. try going to your local airsoft dealer.

airsoft guns come with a flashhider that is removeable, take it off. You will see a 14mm clockwise or counterclockwise thread (also called positive and negative thread). You can then attach a suppresor to that. Many flashhiders are glued and screwed on, so it can be a pain. JG is based in China, and they have strict export laws so it was almost definitely glued, my JG was. use acetone, dip just the flashider in it for a bit, make sure not to get acetone on anything else or down the barrel.
