The laser is bright enough however, it would not hold zero after just a few shots at the range. NcStar replaced it, but the replacement had a bad switch. There must be little or no QC on these products. I had a similar experience with a NcStar spotting scope. Three for three I have learned my lesson.

This is a great laser for the price. All the other lasers on the market are over priced for the same function and design. When you shop for a laser, you should be shopping for laser intensity and color. You want the highest mw rating on the market with with a green or violet laser. The color determines if you can see the laser in the daytime. Green and violet laser can be seen in daytime easier than red lasers. However, the pigtail pressure switch is useless. There are two very thin wires connected to a small circuit board. The pigtail wire moves freely at the laser base and the wire connections are severed by wire movement. My pigtail pressure switch broke almost as soon as I put it on. Luckily I have soldering tools. I re-soldered the wire connections to the circuit board and put some shrink wrap on the wire where it goes through the base (making the wire diameter larger for a more secure fit). That kept the wire from spinning at the base of the laser. If you are having this problem use shrink wrap, or silicone to close the gap or give the wire a more secure fit at the base. The other issue I am having is the laser will turn on when you lay the gun down on the laser. I haven’t got around to fixing this problem yet, but I am sure it is just an issue of a ground connection. I think a solder point, or glob will fix this issue.
I know there are some issues with the manufacturing with this product. However, the laser stays zero’d on my AR-15, and I can see the green laser easily in the day time at 25 yards. I guess when the laser was manufactured they must have rushed through the laser case, and pigtail connection to put it on the market. Based on the design, the pigtail and chasis ground was an after-thought in order to save money. I fixed the pressure switch, but I only use the push button end cap now. It is easier to use and more reliable.
In summary, the laser is great for the price. The pigtail and ground is disappointing, but it is worth the quality of the laser. If you are handy with a soldering iron, or you are able to work around the issues, then this is a great laser for you.

This laser is proving to be almost everything I hoped it would be. The good stuff first. It’s very bright; I could seet at 150 feet in daylight. It comes well packed with a moulded foam insert in the box and good instructions. The box includes a remote pressure switch, hex mounting wrench, hex adjustment wrench, Weaver or Picatinny rail mount, and battery (CR123A). The laser was easy to mount, orient, and zero. I was able to zero it in full daylight, it’s that strong.
The only disappointment is a small one: the mount could be better. One hex screw holds the laser in the mount; two hex screws clamp it to the rail. I would have liked to have a QD mount.
Shipment from Amazon’s partner, Ultimate Paintball, was super quick. For the price, this is a very nice bit of kit. Did I mention it’s bright?

I have this on my Saiga 12. I never even had to zero it in. It was dead on out of the box. I have this thing mounted on a semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun and the laser never wiggled out of sight or place even after 50, 1oz slugs.
