@JudsAirsoftVids I agree with you on the gun bag, hydration system, not so much, it really isn’t needed, no one i know plays with one, and there has never been a problem, boots, who doesn’t have boots already?
@AIRSOFTGIdotcom Yes, G&Ps have a Deans connector, and yes, G&Ps are fairly expensive. But they ROCK. And G&Ps are some of the best M4-type AEGs for quality. If the returns had any reason related to internals, I’d like to hear them.

@userguy1234able In many states you can’t use the gun box to transport because they usually have pictures of the gun on the box which is not considered legally “cased”. On the MOLLE system they chose, the mag pouch was open-top shingles which will not accommodate a bottle. Many people (myself included) did not own “hiking” boots prior to playing airsoft. Lastly, Echo 1 warranties are crap and barely cover you taking the gun out of the box. You don’t need these to be “pro”, but to be “prepared”.
@JudsAirsoftVids You could use the gun box for transportation. A hydration system could be a water bottle in the mag pouch seeing as you have one high cap. Boots well you could get some hiking boots. And this is for beginners who are considering the sport so you may not need money for repairs because the echo 1 guns have 30 day warranty. What you were suggesting is something for a person who wants to be a little bit more professional at airsoft.
You guys should start selling BDUs and other military spec uniforms.
@RomeoTwoSix Because a lot of people bought the G4′s. They switched over to blowback because people like the blowback, manly because it has a good aesthetic touch and it features a functional forward assist. I hope this answers your question.
@userguy1234able well then why are none of them in stock? there’s like nothing from the g4 in stock, and why wouldn’t they still have the non blowback versions? i would have gotten a g4, but they all switched to blowback.

I went to an airsoft site in leek and rented and was given a M4 stubby, Great gun all metal but with a short barrel. It was great for in buldings. I have a C870 sawn off shotgun and thats a great back up. How much should you pay for a decent AEG?

Search for a website called Firesupport.
I suggested the plastic series from ICS as I own one, and so do a number of people I regularly skirmish with, and all have been fantastic, and all at a low price point.
If you really won’t listen to my advice then the best bet for you would be one of the ICS full metal M4s, but you’ll be paying a good £100 more just for a metal body…
(I own both metal and plastic ICS M4s)

@Barmyllama No, you’re starting out, do not buy a sniper rifle…
Sniper Rifles are awkward to use well, and require upgrading out of the box to actually perform decently…
Playing as a sniper is also incredibly slow, and unless you truly have the right mindset can be utterly boring…
Start off with an AEG, something like an ICS Plastic Series M4, and gain some knowledge and experience, then, when you’re more advanced, move on to a sniper rifle.

@Barmyllama G&G, G&P, ICS, King Arms and Marui will probably be your best bets…
I personally don’t like Ares/Star or Classic Army guns so I would never recommend them, but they are ok manufacturers…
VFC, Inokatsu, LCT and Top are slightly more specialist, and often very expensive, and I’d never recommend Systema PTWs as they are way too expensive for what you get.
Only look at Chinese AEGs if you’re on an insanely tight budget…

And what on Earth could you possibly need to practice? Pick up gun, point barrel at enemy, pull trigger… Simple…
Also, there are plenty of sites near you so you don’t need to travel to Scotland to play…

where do all these people buy their own guns from if they live in the uk?, because im thinking about getting on the have a bit of a practice in my garden before i go up to scotland to play, you see i like in manchester so i may as well make the most of it and practice first, but i need my own gun any good websites?
@hawkridge50 Depends what type of clothing you wear. Tight clothing will make it hurt more.
